Obituary of Michael D. Clowes

Michael D.Clowes Brewer – Michael D. Clowes, 47, passed away unexpectedly, Nov. 1, 2015 at his home in Brewer. He was born June 2, 1968 in Bangor, the son of Cecil V. and Shirley (DeLuca) Clowes. Michael grew up in Brewer, graduated from Brewer High School in 1986 and attended the Univ. of Maine, Orono. He loved to golf and play basketball. He had a love for music and was selected to play for the All State orchestra. His favorite activity was spending time with his daughter and playing with their dogs, Tori, Bishop and Trooper. In addition to his mother, Shirley Clowes of Brewer, Michael is survived by one child, Alexandra J. Clowes of Holden; three brothers, Nicholas Martinez and his wife, Erin, Raymond Moore, Jr., Keith Moore; four sisters, Tiffany Martinez, Felicia Moore, Ann Diffin and Mildred Mitchell; his special uncle, Gerry Moore and his wife, Adele; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and by his biological parents, Vivian Martinez and Raymond Moore, Sr of Pleasant Point. A graveside committal service will be held 11 AM Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
